Diagnostic of cardiorespiratory function in excersice (KTV/E-DCF)

Synopsis / description / annotation:

The subject deepens the acquired knowledge within the subjects of Basic Physiology and Excercise Physiology. The aim of the course is to familiarise students with the different options for excercise testing. During practical skills training, students will be provided with feedback through software that allows quick analysis of selected parameters at critical points of the acquired skill. Based on the output of the data collected, teaching students will provide correction instructions to eliminate errors in the currently acquired skill. When practicing cardiorespiratory diagnostics, students will use specialized equipment and software that allows to efficiently analyze selected output parameters describing an individual's cardiorespiratory fitness. Based on the output from the data collected, students will be able to eliminate unwanted injury, over-training and overload due to improperly selected training loads.
