Annotation:

The goal of this course is to introduce students to the field of digital videography, video equipment and other technical devices that are used when creating videos. Students will learn how to hold the camera properly, how to creatively use different types of camera movements and angles. Students will learn the complete process of video production - shooting the video, editing, and publishing. Students will edit their work in one of the most frequently used editing programs - Adobe Premiere Pro. The final video will be exported in different formats.

  2. Compression of video, codecs, formats and standards
  3. Shooting video - angles, movements, dealing with stability
  4. Transferring the data to a computer, conversion of video to edit-friendly formats
  5. Post-production - editing the video, creating transitions, titles, DVD authoring
  6. Post-production – inserting and editing sound, special effects
  7. Exporting – selecting the most suitable format, bit rate, resolution
  8. Publishing the video – internet, DVD
